A Little About Me
Originally from Statesboro, Georgia and now rooted in Atlanta, I find joy in simple beauty morning drives with worship music, enjoying new experiences, discovering cozy coffee shops, and spending time with my Shihpoo, Mocha. My life is marked by intention, peace, and a desire to live fully present wherever God has me.
I'm a devoted daughter, sister, and friend who values genuine connection, heartfelt conversation, and the kind of community where people can be honest and feel safe. I believe the best relationships are the ones where you can show up exactly as you are and still belong.
As an engineer in the tech space and a creative at heart, I naturally live in the space between structure and flow. I'm just as comfortable solving complex problems as I am creating moments of beauty and reflection. It's this balance of excellence and expression, order and inspiration, that shapes the heart of my work and my walk with God.
My hope is simple: that every woman who enters this space feels safe, seen, and supported as she walks with God not striving, not pretending, but growing at a pace rooted in grace.
The Heart Behind This Space
When I first gave my life to Christ in 2020, I was eager hungry for His presence and in awe of His love. I couldn't wait to spend time with Him, to worship, to learn, to grow. But as life unfolded as trials came, as I made mistakes, as my acknowledgement of sin crept in that closeness began to feel harder to reach. Shame, distraction, and disappointment made it easy for me to put a wall up between the very One I once longed for which was Christ.
It all started to shift when in 2025 I accepted the invitation to meet Him at 9:30 in my closet. I was in the middle of the 75 Medium Challenge, and outside of the physical discipline, I had set a spiritual one to spend an hour with the Lord. But honestly, it didn't truly begin the spiritual discipline until the second month, when I could no longer dodge the gentle prompting of the Holy Spirit to sit with Him. That's when everything began to change.
What started as obedience became intimacy. It’s the space where God began to peel back layers of striving and reveal the beauty of simply being with Him. It was there that He taught me to release, to be refilled, to be refreshed, and eventually, to be revived.
Interestingly, Bre'Anna Sekoya & Co already existed on paper. I had the LLC long before I truly understood what it meant. But it wasn't until this season of meeting with God that He gave it meaning. What I thought was just a name for future ideas became a symbol of partnership with Him a reminder that everything He births through me starts in His presence.
This brand isn't about building something for visibility; it's about stewarding what's conceived in the secret place until it's ready to be seen. It's a creative house where revelation meets expression; where faith, artistry, and divine inspiration come together to produce work that carries His presence. Everything that flows from here whether it's a devotional, a brand collaboration, or a creative project begins with Him and returns to Him.
My hope is that as you explore this space, you feel the same gentle invitation I once received to return to your own secret place with God. To slow down, breathe, and rediscover the beauty of creating, dreaming, and becoming with Him.
