A Little About Me
Originally from Statesboro, Georgia and now rooted in Atlanta, I find joy in simple beauty. Morning drives with worship music, new experiences, cozy coffee shops, and time with my Shihpoo, Mocha are some of the small moments that ground me. My life is marked by intention, peace, and a desire to live fully present wherever God has me.
I am a devoted daughter, sister, and friend who values genuine connection and heartfelt conversation. I care deeply about community that allows people to be honest, known, and safe. I believe the best relationships are the ones where you can show up as you are and still belong.
As an engineer in the tech space and a creative at heart, I naturally live between structure and flow. I am just as comfortable solving complex problems as I am creating moments of beauty and reflection. This balance of excellence and expression shapes both my work and my walk with God.
The Heart Behind This Space
When I first gave my life to Christ in 2020, I was eager and hungry for His presence, completely in awe of His love. I couldn’t wait to spend time with Him through worship, learning, and growing. But as life unfolded, as trials came and mistakes were made, that closeness began to feel harder to reach. Shame, distraction, and disappointment made it easy for me to place a wall between myself and the very One I once longed for.
I didn’t walk away from the Lord, but I did become performative. I learned how to say the right things and do the right things while moving through life on autopilot. From the outside, everything looked put together. I had the career, the home, served faithfully at church, and carried a joyful personality. It fit neatly inside the box I had created.
In 2025, things began to shift. I was stripped of many distractions and left with time to reflect, to look honestly at myself, and to acknowledge that I did not have it all together. That was where true transformation began. The Holy Spirit led me into surrender, and the Lord began renewing my mind and redirecting my focus.
This space was birthed later that year when I accepted an invitation to meet God daily in the quiet of my closet. During the 75 Medium Challenge, I committed to spending an hour with the Lord. While it started as discipline, it became something deeper when I could no longer ignore His gentle prompting to simply sit with Him. What began as obedience grew into intimacy.
What started as obedience grew into intimacy. In that place, God began peeling back layers of striving and teaching me the beauty of simply being with Him. It was there that I learned to release, to be refilled, to be refreshed, and eventually, to be revived.
Interestingly, Bre’Anna Sekoya & Co already existed on paper. I had the LLC long before I understood what it truly represented. It wasn’t until this season of meeting with God that He gave it meaning. What I once saw as a name for future ideas became a symbol of partnership with Him, a reminder that everything He births through me begins in His presence.
This brand is not about building something for visibility. It is about stewarding what is conceived in the secret place until it is ready to be seen. It is a creative space where revelation meets expression, and where faith, artistry, and divine inspiration come together. Everything that flows from here begins with Him and returns to Him.
My hope is that as you explore this space, you feel the same gentle invitation I once received. An invitation to return to your own secret place with God. To slow down, breathe, and rediscover the beauty of creating, dreaming, and growing with Him. My prayer is that what you encounter here stirs something within you, a reminder that what is formed in intimacy with God is meant to be lived out in freedom, purpose, and grace.
